Refine your skills. Deepen your presence. Elevate your impact.
Whether you're pursuing your ICF ACC or PCC credential—or simply committed to becoming the most aligned and masterful version of yourself as a coach—Mentor Coaching is your next step.
You became a coach because you believe in people’s potential.
You care deeply. You’re committed. And you want to do this well.
You’ve completed your coach training.
You’ve started applying your skills in real-life sessions.
You’re on the path to ICF credentialing—or preparing for renewal.
But beneath the excitement, doubts begin to whisper.
You wonder if your coaching is really landing.
You replay sessions in your mind, picking apart what you said—or didn’t say.
You try to apply the ICF competencies, but sometimes they feel abstract or out of reach.
Are you truly coaching, or just asking clever questions?
Are you empowering your clients, or trying too hard to sound like a “good coach”?
You want to grow, but you're not sure how to get meaningful, objective feedback.
You want to feel confident—not just competent.
This is where mentor coaching makes all the difference.
It’s not about fixing you.
It’s about refining your practice, strengthening your presence, and supporting you to coach with more clarity, ease, and integrity.
Mentor coaching is a collaborative, reflective process. It’s not just about passing an assessment.
It’s about becoming a coach you’re proud to be. With skilled mentor coaching, you don’t just level up—you align more deeply with your purpose, your presence, and your potential.
Helps you anchor the ICF Core Competencies in a real, embodied way not just ticking boxes.
Reveals your unique coaching voice—not just what you learned in training whilst defining your signature style.
Highlights your strengths and illuminates your growth edges, in a way that makes you feel more empowered.
Mentor coaching helps you step into your Higher Coach resulting in empowering clients to do the same.
“Mentor coaching is for life, not just a credential.” - Clare Norman, MCC
Each mentor coaching session is a blend of practical skill-building and thoughtful reflection.
You’ll bring a recorded coaching session (or coach live, depending on the format), and together we’ll listen with intention—through the lens of the ICF Core Competencies. We’ll highlight what’s working well, where your coaching shines, and explore areas where you can grow.
Expect honest, supportive feedback, specific insights, and powerful reflection questions to help you:
Whether in group or one-on-one settings, sessions are always safe, spacious, and grounded in respect for your unique voice as a coach.
Learn to slow down, listen beyond the words, and create space for your client’s inner wisdom to emerge.
Explore how your questions, reflections, and silences impact the client’s agency and awareness.
Understand how the competencies show up in real coaching conversations—and how to demonstrate them with authenticity.
Receive grounded, actionable feedback that helps you feel more capable and aligned in your coaching practice.
Mentor coaching isn’t just a credentialing requirement—it’s a powerful catalyst for growth, alignment, and confidence.
It’s where your coaching moves from learning the tools to embodying the art.
It’s where you stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your presence.
Where the Core Competencies stop being checkboxes—and start becoming second nature.
Where you finally hear someone say: “This part right here? This is your genius.”
Mentor coaching gives you the kind of focused, compassionate feedback you wish you had when you first started coaching
—feedback that sees your potential, names your blind spots, and helps you stretch into your next level with integrity.
You’ll learn how to bring the ICF Core Competencies to life in an authentic, embodied way—so they flow naturally through your sessions.
With real-time examples and feedback, you’ll begin to understand how powerful coaching happens—moment by moment.
No more feeling like you’re “performing” or trying to remember what to say. You'll learn to trust yourself, your intuition, and the coaching process.
You’ll receive direct and supportive insights tailored to you—not generic advice—so you know exactly where you’re growing and why it matters.
Instead of mimicking what you were taught, you’ll find your authentic voice as a coach—and learn to use it with clarity and power.
Whether it's over-questioning, fear of silence, or trying to “get it right,” mentor coaching helps you identify the patterns that dilute your impact—and shift them.
You’ll be supported every step of the way with feedback aligned to ICF standards, helping you feel ready, grounded, and set up for success.
You'll gain a clearer understanding of how your presence, questions, and energy shape the client experience—so you can coach more intentionally and effectively.

Yes. The ICF requires a minimum of 10 hours of Mentor Coaching for both ACC and PCC credentialing (and for ACC renewal). These 10 hours must be completed over a minimum of 3 months and must be delivered by a coach with the appropriate ICF credential.
While both are developmental, Mentor Coaching focuses on your skill development and alignment with ICF Core Competencies, particularly in preparation for credentialing. Coaching Supervision is broader, exploring the whole of your coaching practice—including relational dynamics, ethical questions, emotional impact, and personal growth as a practitioner.
You’ll typically be asked to bring a recorded coaching session for review (with your client’s consent). In group sessions, you may also observe and reflect on others’ coaching. Some sessions may include live coaching demonstrations, reflections, and Q&A around ICF competencies and best practices.
Yes. Of the 10 required hours:
7 hours may be done in a group setting (maximum 10 participants)
3 hours must be done one-on-one with your mentor coach
Our program is structured to fulfill both of these requirements.
All mentor coaching is facilitated by experienced, ICF-credentialed coaches (PCC or above) who meet ICF’s requirements for mentor coaching. They bring not only technical expertise, but a warm, insightful, and supportive presence to help you grow.
Totally understandable! Mentor Coaching at Evoque is strength-based, kind, and constructive. You’ll receive honest, specific feedback designed to help you grow—not to judge or critique. We hold a safe space for your development and honor the coach you already are.
Technically, yes - though we can't guarantee you a pass. We review your coaching through the lens of ICF’s markers and core competencies, so you’ll understand exactly what assessors look for. You’ll receive practical guidance and specific strategies to prepare your recording with confidence and excellence.
